Daily Vegetarian Meal

We actively promote low-carbon diets by offering one vegetarian meal daily, carefully designed to encourage and attract more students to choose vegetarian options. “Love Our Planet, Eat Less Beef”: Beef has a far greater environmental impact than other meats like pork or chicken, so at least one beef-free day is selected monthly.

Selection of Sustainable Ingredients

We procure premium sustainable seafood certified by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), allowing enjoyment of delicious meals while protecting marine ecosystems.

Separate Lunch Boxes in Large, Medium, and Small Sizes

Controlled Food Distribution: Different portion sizes of lunch boxes for upper and lower grade students match their needs while achieving food conservation effects.

Eco-Friendly Tableware

Provide a set of environmentally friendly tableware made from stainless steel or porcelain, along with a plastic table mat or plastic dinner plate. Tableware can be washed and reused to foster students’ environmental awareness.

Food Saving Activities

In collaboration with Food Angel and Food Grace, we donate leftover lunch boxes to food banks and the homeless, and organize various food conservation activities.

Eco-Friendly Paper Lunch Boxes

Luncheon Star uses brand-new paper lunch boxes daily to minimize germ spread and cross-contamination risks. Made from high-quality U.S.-imported paper sourced from planned tree plantations, they ensure effective ecological protection and are more environmentally friendly than plastic alternatives.

Waste Oil Treatment

We recycle waste cooking oil into biodiesel, a renewable energy source. The biodiesel complies with U.S. (ASTM D6751) and EU (EN 14214) standards.

Food Waste Recycling

Participate in the Environmental Protection Department’s “Food Waste Collection Program” to recycle food waste, convert it into feed, and transport it to local farms and fisheries for use.
